On September 18, the world lost an inspiration and a leader in the form of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court and has been a huge advocate for gender equality, abortion rights, and more recently, LGBT rights. She’s been recognised numerous times and in numerous ways for being one of the most influential women of her time. A true trail blazer and inspiration to so many around the globe.

She was also a CISV mom. She sent her daughter to a CISV programme in the 60s and was involved in the founding of the New York CISV chapter. In the last Global Conference (2018) she recorded a heart-felt message to CISV that was shown at the conference.

Rest in power, RBG.

Thank you for taking action for a more just and peaceful world.
